Frie.dome is a service system design, which combines elderly locals of Leeuwarden, unemployed citizens and international designers, under the motto "repair, renovate, recycle". The project was awarded with the "Public Award" prize at the International Frisian Land Design Competition, organized by the Cartesius Institute of The Netherlands.
